Annual Catalog Kick-Off!

Did you miss the Annual Catalog Kick-off Facebook party on Friday, June 5th? Well, it’s your lucky day! I have decided to keep the party open for a few more days since it appears that a bunch of people had trouble accessing the party Friday night.

You still have time to participate and earn tickets to be entered into the prize bucket. All you need to do is “engage” with my posts. Write a comment. Easy peasy!

The way you get to the party is to click here. This will take you to my Facebook Page.
Click on “Events” in the sidebar;
Click on “Past Events”; and
Scroll down to “Recent Posts”. You will see the last post of the party first — scroll down until you see the first post.

You will see some new products, answer a few silly questions and hopefully have fun! There also will be a chance to place an order using a special hostess code. The code is: NRXVCQTB.

Scavenger Hunt – NEW Catalog!

Hello stamping friends!  I’ve got a new challenge for you this week. We’re going to have a Scavenger Hunt through the new catalog.  If you’ve ordered from me over the past year, you should have received your new catalog. If you haven’t ordered from me and would like a catalog, please contact me and I will send a new catalog out to you so that you can play along!  You can send me an email at wendymakes@gmail.com.


Here’s how the scavenger hunt works.  I’ll post three questions below.  You go through your catalog and find the answers. Email me with your answers and I’ll enter you into a drawing for a stamping goodie. Easy peasy!
Here you go:

1. Name the new Foil sheet color;
2. How many Hostess sets are available in this new catalog; and
3. Which Designer Series Paper includes photographic images?

Stamping Challenge #6 Reveal

As promised, below is a pic of one of the cards that I created this past week. It is also a sneak peek of one of the upcoming new stamp sets! This card is made with the stamp set called Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. I love this color combination — it is Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.

Stamping Challenge #6

Hello stamping friends! It’s another week of social distancing (at least where I live), so let’s do some crafting! Stamping Challenge #6 this week is wide open. It’s really simple…make a card and send me a pic.

Now is the time to shine at what we do best. We are all missing our friends and family, so make a bunch of cards and send them! It certainly makes my day when I receive “happy mail”.

Quick Cards

Hello friends! Do you have moments where you need to create a quick card for someone? I have a tip for you today. Plan ahead! Take an hour some evening and stamp a bunch of sentiments. Find a cute little basket or dish to put them in for the next time you need a sentiment.

I took some time over the weekend and punched out a bunch of sentiments from the COVID-19 Giveback PDF called Share Sunshine. If you missed my post about the PDF that Stampin’ Up! is now offering, head over to my prior blog post here for all the details.

Stamping Challenge #5

Stamping Challenge #4 Reveal

As promised, I am sharing my card my card today that I based my Stamping Challenge #4 on. I used up lots of scraps by merely cutting long skinny pieces and then placing them side by side to create this bright and colorful card.

I also used one of the sentiments from the COVID-19 Giveback PDF, Share Sunshine, that Stampin’ Up! recently created. You can catch up on all of the scoop back here at my post earlier this week.

Nine Lives

This stamp set, Nine Lives, by Stampin’ Up! is so much fun! However, it’s on the retirement list and is going away. Boo hoo! But…I can tell you there’s a new stamp set for pet lovers coming, and it’s just a fun! So, get ready for some new furry friend fun!

I wanted to feature this card with you as a last “shout out” to this stamp set. I used Whisper White card stock for the base, and then basic gray and pear pizzaz for the remaining colors. The cat was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on smokey slate card stock and then punched out using the cat punch. I then stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies. To finish it off, I added some Old Olive twine for some added texture.

COVID-19 Giveback with Stampin’ Up!
