Manly Monday

May 30, 2017May 29, 2017

Hi friends!  Sorry that I’ve been missing!  May is always a crazy month for our family.  My daughter’s dance show is always the beginning of May and those first two weeks of the month is all about dance and not much else. Then the second two weeks of the month I’m playing catch up with all of the things that have  accumulated over the past few weeks!  Phew!

Enough about me!  Moving on to our manly Monday card.  This one has some paisleys on it, so it might be stretching the masculinity a bit.  Let me know what you think!

Check back later this week.  The new Stampin’ Up! catalog starts on June 1st!  Woo hoo!

Happy May!

May 1, 2017April 26, 2017

Hello friends!  Welcome to May!  Hopefully you all are having some May flowers pop up around you!  We’ve had plenty of April showers around here, so we are ready for some sunshine and flowers.

The beginning of May is always CRAZY for us too.  My daughter’s big dance show is always the first or second week of the month.  This means that life revolves around her dance schedule for the next fourteen days.  Extra classes, tech rehearsals, dance pics, stage rehearsals, dress rehearsal and then two nights of the big show!  You get the picture…

So, I am sharing with you today a pic of my May 2017 calendar page from my 2016 Christmas gifts to everyone.  Lots of flowers for you!  Enjoy!

Happy stamping everyone!

XOXO

It is also showing you one of the new In-Colors that will be with us from 2017-2019!  It’s called Lemon Lime Twist.  Don’t you jut love it?  I do!  We needed a bright green!!

Leave a note for me in the comments section below to let me know what you think of the new color and the light bulbs!  Would you buy this stamp set?

OnStage 2017 – Richmond

April 13, 2017April 12, 2017

Hello stamping friends!  I thought I’d share with you today some pics from our trip to Richmond, Virginia for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event this past weekend.  We had so much fun getting to play with new product and see the new in-colors.

See the pics below?  This is what they do to us!  They put new product and projects on the table, but we’re not able to open them until they give us permission!  It always drives us crazy!!

This is a shot of our table at the beginning of the day…

See those colors in the pic on the left?  They are the new in-colors for 2017-2019.  What do you think?  The names of the colors from left to right are Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.  I think my favorite (today) is Lemon Lime Twist.  I’ve been waiting for a bright green!

Remember that I had  a teaser post with the closed Stampin’ Up! box before I left for OnStage?  I was chosen to be a display board stamper back in January.  This means that I received a box of all new product from  Stampin’ Up! to play with and come up with samples for the display board at OnStage.  Below is a pic of my samples, along with the samples from other demonstrators. My samples are at the top on the picture to the left.  My friend, and traveling companion, Megan, has her display samples in the pic on the right.

It’s always fun to meet new stampers when going to these events.  Sarah, from Arizona  and Jenny from New Jersey joined us at our table this year. That’s me on the far left, then Megan, Ria, Sarah and Jenny.

Funny story for you ~ when I was getting ready on Saturday morning for the event, I realized that I only had the correct contact for my right eye.  My prescription for my contacts is different for each eye.  One is for close up and the other is for my distance.  I had two right eye contacts and none for the left eye.  I was so bummed!  I wore both right eye contacts,  but I was without distance for the entire day.  I could not even drive my car home.  Poor Ria got stuck with the four hour drive herself.

Here are some more fun pics from the day! More display board samples and us having fun in the photo booth!

Hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek into my trip to Richmond for  OnStage 2017 with Stampin’ Up!
