Designer Series Paper LOVE

March 30, 2018March 26, 2018

Hello stamping friends!  Today I’m sharing one of my favorite products from Stampin’ Up!  It’s their Designer Series Paper. The  nice thing about the Designer Series Paper is that it coordinates with SU’s inks, card stock and embellishments. The paper is a nice weight, always double sided, (except for the specialty paper, which usually has some sort of foil element to it),  and is easy to work with. It’s not thin like a lot of papers are at those other “craft stores”!  Stampin’ Up! changes up its paper with the new annual catalog that comes out in May of each year.  I hear over and over again from my customers how much they enjoy that everything with SU coordinates so nicely . Below is a video showcasing all of the designer series paper in the 2018 Occasions Catalog. Take a minute to watch the video!

http:/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUR2VQmMgZo&feature=youtu.be

Did you take a minute to watch the video?  Too much cuteness!  Drop me a note to let me know what you’re favorite paper is this year from the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  Also, if you’d like to order some of the paper for yourself, click on over here to get yourself some paper goodness!  Don’t forget — Sale-a-Bration ends tomorrow, March 31st.  If you place a $50 or more order, you will get to pick out a free stamp set! Thanks for stopping by today.

Sale-a-Bration Ending!

March 26, 2018March 26, 2018

Hello stamping friends!  This is the last week for Sale-a-Bration at Stampin’ Up!  I cannot believe that the three months has gone by so quickly!  Although I’m happy, because that means nicer weather and the new catalog is on the horizon.  Stampin’ Up! demonstrators will get a glimpse at the new products in the beginning of April.  Woo hoo!  I will be traveling to Hartford, Connecticut for OnStage, which is a mini convention for demonstrators. There’s always lots of excitement at Stampin’ Up! this time of year!

Below is a pic of one of the cards that I made with this Bubble Over stamp set and Bubbles & Fizz DSP.

Take a minute and check out the video below showcasing one of my favorite stamp sets from this year’s Sale-a-Bration. The Bubbles & Fizz paper was one of the free items that goes with the Bubble Over stamp set.

You have until Friday of this week to place your qualifying order ($50+)  if you have your eye on any of the freebies.  Click over here to place your order.

OR, even better yet…sign up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator along with me!  If you sign up during Sale-a-Bration, you get some extra goodies.  You will pick out your very own starter kit.  The starter kit includes $125 worth of product, plus two free stamp sets for $99 and free shipping.  How much fun!  You will then receive a permanent 20% discount when you shop.  Other perks are that you get to see the products in the new catalog one month before the customers, plus you will have a chance to pre-order product.

And, one more thing, and I’ve found this to be my favorite — you will get to meet lots of fun people and make new friends who share the same passion as you! Stampin’ Up! is one big  stamping family!

Happy Monday!  Have a great week and hope you are able to get in some stamping time!

Heartfelt Blooms with the Library Ladies

March 13, 2018

Hello stamping friends!  Today was a very slow day at the library with the ladies.  It snowed here over night, so I think that kept some of them away.  Today’s card features the Heartfelt Blooms stamp. It is one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp sets.  I cased (copy and share everything) this card from a fellow demonstrator, Rachel Tessman.  Thanks Rachel!   I think it is simple and quite elegant.

The Heartfelt Blooms stamp set is Stampin’ Up!’s own new distinktive stamp.  The ink is put down at different opacities giving the finished image more depth.  You simply ink the surface lightly for a perfect photographic finish.

Paper Snips by Stampin’ Up!

March 2, 2018February 28, 2018

Hello stamping friends.  Today I’m sharing one of my favorite products the Paper Snips by Stampin’ Up!.  These small scissors have thin, precision ground stainless steel tips and are very sharp.  They have a great pointy tip which works wonderfully when you’re trying to cut intricate details.  They come with 2 1/2″ blades and a safety cover.

These are a must have for every paper crafter.  I LOVE these paper snips.  If you’re interested to getting a pair for yourself, you can check them out at my online store here.

Lovely as a Tree, Wendy Makes

Hello stamping friends and happy March!  Spring is only 19 days away!  I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some warmer weather.  Here in Pennsylvania, it’s been sort of a cold winter.  We haven’t had any major snow accumulations, but lots of little snow and ice storms where it caused the kiddos to miss  school.

Today I am sharing with you my March calendar page from the mini calendar that I make for all of my friends and family at Christmas time.  This page was made with the Lovely as a Tree stamp from Stampin’ Up! Enjoy!

Easter Card with Library Ladies

February 28, 2018February 28, 2018

Hello stamping friends!  Yesterday was my weekly class with my library ladies.  I thought it was time to make an Easter card, since Easter is a bit early this year.  My inspiration for this card comes from a fellow SU demonstrator, Fiona Whitten, from across the pond.  She made a birthday card, but I loved the idea, so I turned it into an Easter card.

I love the concept of cutting a circle after stamping and then popping up the top whisper white layer with dimensionals. I also stamped a flower on the inside of the card for some extra fun!  The flowers have been colored in using the Stampin’ Blends. Below is a list of all of the  Stampin’ Up! products used for this card.

Perennial Birthday Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Stampin’ Up! Trimmer Tool Tips

February 23, 2018February 21, 2018

Hello stamping friends!  Today we’re going to talk about Stampin’ Up’s Trimmer Tool.  This is one of the most important  tools that you need when you’re paper crafting tool.   This is an excellent paper cutter and is quite portable for when you’re  on the go.

It’s extremely important to keep your trimmer in tip top shape so that your pieces of card stock always have a clean cut.   You always want  to be sure that your cutting blade is always fresh and sharp.  It’s very easy to remove the old blade and add a new one.  You simply slide the blade down to the bottom of the track where there is a little carved out notch.  You then twist the blade a bit and pop it out.  When adding the new blade simply reverse your steps and be sure to remove the protective plastic from the blade before putting it in!

Another important piece to keep clean on your trimmer tool  is the long gray mat that is usually referred to as the cutting guide (Stampin’ Trimmer Replacement Mat).  This mat must always be free of  any tiny bits of paper or “paper powder”.  I usually remove the debris from the track using an alcohol wipe.

And, last but not least, is always be sure to have extra cutting blades on hand for your trimmer tool. The Stampin’ Trimmer has a nice little storage compartment on the back for storing those extra blades.  Always make sure you have extra blades on hand. You do not want to run out!

Stampin’ Trimmer
$30.00
Stampin’ Trimmer Cutting Blades
$6.00
Stampin’ Trimmer Scoring Blades
$5.00
Stampin’ Trimmer Replacement Cutting Mat

I hope you enjoyed my tips today for the Stampin’ Trimmer.  I know it’s one tool that no paper crafter should be without!  Head over to www.wdiem.stampinup.net if you’d like to make a Stampin’ Trimmer purchase.  You won’t be disappointed!
Happy stamping!
